Vanita, is an accomplished senior manager holding a level four Registered Manager's qualification. Vanita has spent 15 years in a senior position managing and running adult care and adult day care services within Birmingham City Council. These roles have given Vanita extensive knowledge of the care sector and the complex legislation that surrounds care services ensuring that her expert practical experience is second to none. Working within the City Council environment Vanita has extensive knowledge of the issues and barriers public sector workers face, whilst understanding social enterprise and the voluntary and community sector. These essential skills are invaluable in today's environment and compliment DiSE's externalisation of public sector services support. In 2005 Vanita moved out of adult care to take up a position in her true passion supporting people with disabilities.

Vanita has expert knowledge and experience within the physical disabilities arena. Vanita has dedicated her time to improving care packages and enabling rehabilitation through care providers in the community and to this day remains an advocate developing services that meet the needs of the local community.
